Kimberly Kane Talks ASMR with Aiden Starr on Diary of a Dominatrix SIRIUS XM 415

"People forget that the brain is the biggest erogenous zone." - Jackie Treehorn, in “The Big Lebowski”

My love for ASMR and erotic audio started years ago, when I directed movies for Vivid Entertainment. I spent a lot of time in their dark, windowless editing bay, putting the final touches on my features.

One of my favorite parts of lurking a professional editing bay was access to their voice-over booth. As someone who has noise sensitivities, I loved working in the sound booth. I wrote a movie called “Beautiful Stranger” in which the entire story was told in voice-over so that I could be in the booth.

Years later, I started experimenting on my own with erotic voice-over. I created a video called “Guided Pussy Meditation,” which featured, umm, "artistic" footage of my pussy with a gentle jerk-off-instruction voice-over track.

Cut to the present, ASMR is HOT; YouTube is full of creators making big bucks off the trend, but adult/fetish-oriented content is lacking. I saw an opportunity to get creative in this erotic frontier.

“Most of my Erotic ASMR recordings are custom orders. I have so many now, I created an ASMR dedicated subscription page on JustForFans: justfor.fans/kimberlykane.”

When I think back to my biggest influences in the adult industry, one name always rises to the top: Aiden Starr. Her sharp tongue and quick-witted world-building, in a fetish session or live on her radio show, is awe-inspiring. Aiden can tailor a fantasy on the spot and fully immerse her audience; a true artist. That's why Aiden's SIRIUS XM radio show “Diary of a Dominatrix” is the perfect place to talk about my love of ASMR and Erotic Audio.

I will be joining Aiden Starr live on Thursday, April 29th at 1:30pm PT, SIRIUS XM channel 415 to discuss all things Audio-Erotica; I hope you will tune in for the conversation.

KIMBERLY KANE + ART DECADES MAGAZINE

I was going through my archives and came across this issue of Art Decades magazine that I shot the cover and feature layout for back in 2017.

This shoot is one of my favorites because of its not so subtle Twin Peaks vibe. The rural pacific northwest is inspiring, and the pile of fresh-cut logs in my sister's back yard was an irresistible backdrop.

When I pitched this idea to Art Decades magazine, they said they wanted it to be a cover feature with a 17 pages layout! Then it was game on to bring in the best team to make my vision over the top.

I enlisted Lily Labeau, a PNW native to be my muse, and I brought on Drew, creator of EroticNerdFilms to help achieve the desired lighting effects and photo retouching, so everything looked flawless.

I couldn't be happier with the final product. Lily Labeau gets it; she's a very intuitive model, she effortlessly became the Laura Palmer/Log Lady mash-up of my Lynchian dreams.

I believe Art Decades magazine is no longer in print, sad to say. You can still find some issues of the magazine on Amazon via the publisher Jeremy R Richey, who is a lovely person, and a true patron of the underground arts.
